Location

Bressenden is exactly half way between the villages of Biddenden and Benenden, on the Benenden Road, which joins the two villages. It is half a mile northeast of Benenden Hospital along the same road. The small market towns of Tenterden and Cranbrook are 10 minutes away by car. Access to and from Europe is easy, with the Channel port of Dover being one hour’s drive away.

The property is situated opposite the junction with Frogs Hole Lane. In keeping with local custom, the signage is relatively discreet, as Bressenden is a private house, not a hotel. Please therefore take note of the picture below the map. It shows the roadside entrance, with arrows pointing to the various signs marked “Bressenden” and to the wooden entrance gate (with a picture of a cat). Please remember to close the gate at all times. There is no street lighting, so please bring a pocket light for use after sunset.

Postal address: Bressenden, Benenden Road, Biddenden TN27 8DU.

On entering the property, close the gate behind you, follow the signs to Reception and park on the turning circle.
